The Department of Neural and Behavioral Sciences at Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania is seeking a reliable, organized and motivated individual for a full time research technician, level to be determined by experience.

The Yongsoo Kim lab focuses on understanding the cellular architecture of the nervous system and how it supports cognitive functions in the mammalian brain using mice as an animal model.

The principal role of the job includes maintaining mouse colony, genotyping, rodent behavioral testing, and making common stock solution for the lab.

Various lab management tasks such as ordering and managing inventory are also expected. Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office and Google documents) are required.

Successful candidates for this position are required to have a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a biological or biomedical science field.
