Job Description :


Develop bank distribution channels that may be affiliated with SLAMC in the selling of mutual funds in areas such as :

Planning how to penetrate potential bank channels and expansion of current partnerships Establishing performance standards, monitoring and evaluating performance of assigned distribution channel to ensure accomplishment of sales target and business development growth Creating strategies on how to expand mutual fund awareness with bank front-liners and management team Providing logistical support through market / fund update and information on the products of the company and what competition is doing Providing selling tools and techniques, training and information on the products of the company and what competition is doing Conducting joint client calls when necessary Conducting regular visits, calls, presentations to develop and cement good relationships with them Ensuring attendance of distributors to investment for which provide market developments and product updates

Ensure thorough knowledge on other bank related subject matters such as legal & compliance, operations, finance, marketing and investments.

Including accomplishment of due diligence reports for fund house and product approvals (such as feeder fund partnerships and Trust Committee product approvals).

Visit bank branches for investment status reviews and product updates in order to maintain good relationship and encourage additional investments and referrals.

Provide management with timely and periodic sales reports

Develop and recommend strategies to Sales and Marketing the implementation of promotional activities and performance recognition incentives to assigned distribution channels that will support sales and revenue targets.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and controls.


  • University graduate degree, MBA is an advantage.
  • More than 3 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in the field of sales, investments, marketing or product development.
  • Knowledge in basic MS software : Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) license in Mutual Funds or experience in selling UITF and VUL is an advantage.
