We need a highly driven, passionate, resourceful VP who will help the owner create and operate startup brands in the skincare, fragrance and neutraceuticals industries.
The candidate must be willing to commit to the founder for a minimum of 3 years. We are open to all individuals who are hard-
working risk takers whether they are millennials or veterans.
Creating, communicating, and implementing the organization’s vision, mission, and overall direction for all departments of the company except certain areas of Finance (treasury and financing), Audit, Procurement, Legal and HR (Compben).
Leading, guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of other managers and staff. Implementing a strong corporate culture.
Formulating and implementing the strategic plans (acting as project manager) and acting as an intrapreneur.
Achieving the organization's overall strategic goals and contributing to the sales and profitability requirements of the business as determined by the strategic plans.
Forming, staffing, guiding, leading, and managing an organization
Overseeing the complete operation of an organization in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans.
Evaluating the success of the organization. Does the organization achieve the overall success that was budgeted for, planned for, and aimed to accomplish?
If not, why not? And, if not, the VP addresses how to get the organization back on track.
Maintaining awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards, and so forth.
Generally speaking, being aware of any opportunities that the organization can leverage and pursue for its advantage.
Representing the owner for contract signings, major meetings and events, etc.
Performing other responsibilities as assigned by the president or owner.
Must have background of at least 2 years in a company in the beauty, fashion, FMCG & home care industries. Preferably with exposure / inclination for luxury or premium brands.
Preferably someone who helped launch a new product / brand.
Must have at least 2 years in either sales or logistics (related to distribution) or marketing. Preferably with exposure to omni-
channel sales model (especially selling online / e-commerce and in major retailers).
Must have experience leading a team or department for at least 1 year. Must work and adapt well to cross functional teams / other departments.
Must have at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
Must have the intelligence and willingness to learn new things and multitask.
Preferably with exposure to working with OEM or private labels on the procurement side.
Preferably with exposure to a company that manufactured / created its own brands or products or services, not simply a marketing / distribution company of others’ brands
