Plan,schedule and execute Service Pack deployments at customer sites
Managecustomer communications to provide clear planning and direction on behalf ofMIG Support
Co-ordinatewith Support Zones to ensure all information relevant to the deployment iscaptured and documented
Trackdeployment progress through existing tools
Co-ordinateand execute Field Testing activities to ensure fast release of HMI PTFs
Managecontact with the customer that requested the PTF
Workwith Engineering to ensure the PTF is developed to meet the requestingcustomer’s need.
Assistin creating a standard model for planning and exciting upgrades
Assistin the development of new tracking tools and workflows
Workwith R&D and Product Management on software deployment strategies and tools
Workwith R&D and Beta staff on update process enhancements
Bachelorof Computer Science, Engineering or Computer Technology background
Minimumof 2 year’s experience in technical support environment
Experiencewith Service Pack Upgrades and Updates
Excellentorganizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
Abilityto work well under pressure.
Excellentwriting and verbal skills.
Clearspeaking voice and excellent telephone manner.
Desireto provide excellent customer assistance.
Abilityto conduct training sessions, give oral presentations, and interface andcommunicate with customers and co-workers in a clear and professional manner
