Position Description

An Associate Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Company’s Strategic Account Managers with many of the operational tasks associated with QIAGEN’s sales environment.

An Associate Sales Coordinator primary responsibility is to provide general administrative non-sales support to the account managers in the areas of CRM, quotation, reporting, tracking and providing customer service support.

1.Target Account Segments, including but not limited to :

a.Supports diverse account segments including life sciences, molecular diagnostics, and market development businesses


Support the Area and Inside Sales Representatives with administrative non-sales support, including but not limited to :

  • Entering and reporting CRM data.
  • Writing quotations.
  • Managing samples.
  • Tracking down orders.
  • Handling back order issues and customer complaints.
  • Liaising with Customer care, Technical services and Regional Marketing.
  • Pre / Post vendor shows / seminars support regarding announcements, supplies, etc.
  • Position Requirements

  • BS in a scientific field or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior sales support or coordination experience in high-activity sales environment.
  • 1-3 years professional work experience strongly preferred.
  • Microsoft Office mastery.
  • Personal Requirements

  • Self -motivated with the ability to work independently while under guidance from manager.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in teams.
  • Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills for all business levels.
