Principal Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying, interpreting, and inputting consumer information into the appropriate database and / or program.
  • Keep track of received data documents.
  • Prepare and sort documents, identify and interpret data to be entered.
  • Contact originators of the documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
  • Enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from documents into computer following format displayed on screen, and enters necessary codes.
  • Make necessary corrections to information entered.
  • When requested, enter database tracking information into the appropriate company system of record.
  • Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data to be entered.
  • Maintain record of completed work.
  • Review error reports and enter corrections.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with all applicable Federal and Local laws and regulations relating to job duties.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide routine office support such as making copies, faxing, answering phones, prepares correspondence for mailing, and delivering and picking up correspondence.
  • Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement.
  • Make recommendations to implement improved processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree or if undergraduate, with relevant work experience preferred.
  • Previous clerical or data entry experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • When requested, ability to type 50 words per minute (WPM) required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work.
  • Work Environment

  • Office environment.
  • Ability to lift and / or move 20 pounds with or without accommodation.
