3M is looking for Global Simplification & Process Automation Developers to join our Philippines Global Service Center. Here, you go.
The Global Simplification & Process Automation team delivers process simplification and automation services to 3M business operation and transactional teams.
Successful candidates will be part of an expert team who will solve business problems using latest technologies in our newly established Global Service Center (GSC) in Taguig City, Philippines.
Successful candidates will take active part in the following activities :
Understanding 3M processes and identifying high value opportunities for simplification and automation
Learn and become expert in automation and process management tools
Conduct E2E solution development activities such as requirements analysis, design, development, testing and support activities
Develop workflow solutions to simplify process operations for our service centers
Acquire exposure to cutting tools & technology on business process automation and workflow management
Stay on top of current business and industry trends and explore next generation technologies such as machine learning, cognitive computing, intelligent system etc.
and apply them in solving day to day business problems
Delivering value to business
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Identifying new process opportunities and accurately analyzing and estimating new processes, quickly assessing feasibility.
Analyzing, understanding and documenting the business processes in detail where required.
Identifying and communicating the technical infrastructure requirements.
Designing SPA process solutions in accordance with standard design principles and conventions.
Configuring new SPA software (Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere or UiPath) processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
Creating and maintaining documentation such as process definition and solution design documentation
Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
Mentoring colleagues through the SPA software training and accreditation program, providing advice and guidance on best practice and development techniques
Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of SPA system and providing timely responses and solutions as required.
Communicating with SPA software vendor on software related issues, suggested improvements and participating with other users in the SPA community.
Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery / project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.
Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for unit, integration, regression and system testing
Supporting the Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases
Minimum 2-5 years of professional experience in IT or analytical business services
University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
Strong VBA scripting skills and Windows COM understanding required
Strong knowledge of programming concepts is required (e.g. variables, loops, exception handling, loops, conditions, object orientation etc.)
Knowledge and experience in working with Robotic Tools (Automation Anywhere, Blueprism) is highly desirable
At least 1+ years of programming experience in .Net technology (C#, VB.Net, Windows programming)
Prior experience with Automation SDK / Library (Sikuli, Selenium drivers, Auto IT, Microsoft UI automation framework etc.) is highly desirable
Strong scripting skills and good understanding of APIs, presentation layer integrations, Screen scraping
Windows Infrastructure setup (windows server, MS SQL, IIS, virtual desktop)
Experience in working with Virtual Servers, Desktop Infrastructure such as Citrix, VMWare etc.
Fast learning and well developed analytical thinking, design thinking and problem solving skills
Familiarity with Business Process Management technologies and solution
Fluent in English
Strong communication skills in presentation, interviewing and facilitating workshops
Experience in working in an global environment
Familiarity with process improvement and transformation methodologies like Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.
Familiarity with waterfall and / or Agile delivery model
Familiarity with Cognitive technologies (NLP, Machine Learning, digital assistance)
Experience with Business Process Management tools, workflow management tools such as Service Now, Nintex, WorkflowGen, IBM BPM etc.
Prior experience or interest in Machine Learning libraries in Java, Python or .Net
Experience in software technologies and solutions
Familiarity / experience with any of the following frameworks or methodologies : Agile methodologies, Lean software development, project management
University degree in IT
