The Business Unit Human Resources (BUHR) Manager will be reporting to the Human Resources Director for Philippines. He / She shall provide generalist HR leadership and support for the retail channel or global services team.
Roles and Responsibilities
Serves as the primary HR business partner for managers in the assigned business units.
Assists with the implementation of the HR strategy in support of the short-term and long-term business goals.
Partners with the Specialist groups and HR Operations to ensure coordination of HR strategies and processes across the organization.
Supports the implementation of organizations and cultures that drive innovation and employee engagement.
Supports the implementation of structures and strategies to improve individual and organizational performance.
Implements effective strategies to enable the organization to thrive through periods of change, e.g. acquisition, internal growth, restructurings.
Provides group and one-on-one coaching with managers and employees to support leadership development, business decision-making, human resources management, problem solving and performance management.
Supports the implementation of appropriate HR solutions aligned with business direction.
Implements global / standardized HR processes at the local level.
Assists with employee communication initiatives within customer groups.
Provides advice on performance and employee relations matters.
Works with HR leadership team on the following :
oImplementation of global succession planning, career management, performance management and recruitment.
oEnsuring that reward structures support business growth and are appropriate to local laws, practices and benchmarks.
oEnsures implementation of key processes and capabilities to support business unit learning and growth agenda
At least Bachelor’s Degree Holder; MBA or Master’s degree would be an advantage.
8 years of experience in HR Business partnering with at least 3-5 years in a senior generalist HR and leadership role (manager-level and up)
Preferably with strong Organizational Development experience
Experience in a shared services or in an FMCG industry is a requirement for the role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
