The role

SAP PI / POConsultant(Process Integration / Process Orchestration) is responsible for delivering interfaces between SAP and Non-SAP systems that combine business processes with software SAP development tools.

The complexity of interfaces may vary, however they need to scale and be highly reliable for complex enterprise system environments.

TheSAP PI / POConsultantunderstands overall SAP enterprise system landscape and can perceive functional requirements between SAP components within the core ERP solution being deployed as well as integrate to external applications in the enterprise environment.

TheSAP PI / POConsultantis involved in all phases of the life cycle implementation, including blueprinting, mapping, prototype, design, configuration, testing, go-live, user training and post

Accountabilities :

  • Analyze functional requirements and provide technical solution and documentation for SAP functional teams.
  • Liaise with the author of the functional specifications to understand the application development requirements and perform application development in accordance with the Global development standards
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues relating to SAP application development and perform root cause analysis
  • Provide support and participate in testing and defect resolution
  • Provide Quality Assurance on programs developed by Application Developers and Contractors ensuring that Global Application Development standards are followed, and robustness of the applications developed.
  • Design, development, maintain integration interfaces to internal and / or external applications
  • Develop to business priorities, standards, and end user satisfaction
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to application errors
  • Work with project managers and end users to review functional specifications
  • Work with end users and other IT functions to ensure integration to other template applications
  • Work with other developers and application architect to design new functionality
  • Effective Incident management
  • Problem solving and analysis
  • What we need to see from you

    Technical Skills :

  • 8+ years PI / PO experience in SAP ECC 6.0
  • Exposure on SAP Cloud Platform Solution
  • Experience working on Cloud environment
  • Must have a good understanding of PI / PO design
  • Must have hands-on experience in API' and integration tool kit
  • Technical Expert in integrations and implementing best practices using PI / PO or CPI
  • Must be able to combine business processes with PI / PO development tools
  • Must be able to interfaces between various SAP and non-SAP applications
  • Experience in developing Value mapping table and using it in PI / PO
  • Expert knowledge in a variety of EDI mapping protocols in SAP PI / PO
  • Experience on working with upgrade and migration of PI / PO system
  • Strong experience in Web service calls (including SOAP)
  • Support the assessment of change requests (corrections, enhancements), proposing and developing solutions by SAP PI / PO
  • Should be able to contribute to 3rd level support of SAP PI / PO system (Incident Management, Problem Management, troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Possess the ability to :
  • Collaborate with end-users to analyze and document requirements for new business processes or changes to existing processes
  • Design and develop tools / programs based on complex business requirements
  • Troubleshoot and solve system problems
  • Organize tasks and manage time to complete multiple, diverse assignments within a scheduled timeframe
  • Unix scripting knowledge is a plus
  • SAP S / 4 HANA, SAP Personas or SAP Fiori knowledge a plus
  • Soft Skills :

  • Strong analytical andproblem-solvingskills.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders (senior management, team members, clients, and support personnel).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with key decision makers and different people in multi-cultural environment.
