Job Description
Oracle and SQL Server Database development and management support for the Manufacturing Execution System (FACTORYworks) based at Microchip’s Philippines Facility.
The candidate will collaborate and work closely with Philippines-based Development Team while reporting to a Philippines based Information Services Manager.
The candidate will participate in and / or coordinate tasks involved Data Services activities involved in a software development life cycle : Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, and Post-Implementation / Integration or Upgrade Support.
Job Requirements
Essential Competencies :
Working knowledge with process flow and data flow diagramming and other analysis tools is an advantage
Job Requirements :
Candidate must have a Computer Science BS Degree or equivalent, be self-driven, and have 2+ years of experience development and management of relational databases for medium to large size enterprises.
Skills required :
Database Management (preferably Oracle and or SQL), Data Manipulation and Scripting, Stored Procedures, Relational Database Structure, and other Data modeling concepts,
Other skills preferred :
Service Oriented Architecture and Design, Visual Studio 2013 or later versions (Visual Studio 2015 preferably). Windows and Linux Operating System Management.
