Responsibilities

Works closely with the SYSS Director of Product Cybersecurity to Act as a primary collection point for incoming security vulnerabilities, create tracking mechanisms and metrics for all SYSS business products Notify product owners / managers and security engineers of new security vulnerabilities Develop policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines for the triage, analysis, remediation, and communications of fixes, mitigations or other advisory information to address security vulnerabilities Assist in the development of remediation plans, and draft / publish communication of a fix or mitigation, including incident management Monitor threat intelligence sources, become knowledgeable about regulations and standards globally including IEC-62443 Work on employee awareness programs for product cybersecurity including curating content for a SYSS SharePoint site and newsletter

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a closely related field

2-5 years as Product and Application Security Specialist, or related experience in Security Operations, CSIRT, Vulnerability Response and / or Incident Response

At least 1 beginner and 1 intermediate cybersecurity certification training

Strong knowledge in systems, security, and network administration

Experience with any of the following standards : IEC-62443, NERC-CIP, ISO 27001

Experience with Microsoft 365, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint, and PowerBI is a plus
