Role description :

  • You can understand how various solutions fit together and the big picture in your domain.
  • You have : An academic or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or other relevant STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) degree.
  • Relevant working experience (10+ years) (software engineering and architectural solutions in a multinational environment)

    What You’ll Own :

    Oracle Domain Architecture

  • Defines current domain architecture, reference architecture and identify areas of improvements.
  • Ensures the domain architecture is scalable, resilient, and cloud native including microservices architecture.
  • Refines and / or redesigns domain architecture to meet the organization’s changing business requirements.
  • Supports the Enterprise Architect in defining Architecture frameworks and processes.
  • Reviews, identifies, and prioritizes technology risks to develop a risk mitigation plan for the domain area.
  • Explains key business benefits and implications of technology decisions and outcomes.
  • Work with third-party solutions that affect the domain, including selection of technology (being sure it aligns with enterprise architecture).
  • Treat the services within their domain as a portfolio of business assets.
  • End to End Architecture :

  • Ensures solutions are aligned with the enterprise reference architecture standards, patterns, principles, and guidelines.
  • Cloud Enterprise Class Applications Design and Deployment (must show at least two functional domains - ERP, CRM, HCM, Social Tooling).
  • Strong application background, ideally in ERP, Business Intelligence or CRM technologies.

  • Data Centre Design and Transformation (must have network, servers, storage, and operations costing experience)
  • Process, Service, and Information Integration in complex application environments
  • Advanced Multi-Channel Architecture
  • Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing preferred
  • Information Management for the Enterprise
  • Advanced Information Modelling and Service Integration
  • Advanced Mobile and Internet User Experience Architecture
  • Interacts with other Domain Architects to define domain interactions.
  • Liaises with infrastructure architects when necessary to ensure fit for purpose solutions.
  • Creates and maintains domain architecture deliverables.
  • Provides guidance / input to Solution Architects and project teams to ensure technology solutions being delivered are consistent with domain technical guidelines.
  • Assists in development of business cases which include relevant technology implications.

  • Works closely with domain teams (business process manager, delivery manager, service manager, business analyst, suppliers) and domain applications system engineers / analysts and developers.
  • Assesses new technologies and articulates the transition from current to future state in consideration of the future needs of the business and security policies and requirements, striking an optimal balance between standardization, customization, innovation, costs, and risk management.
  • Creates innovation roadmap with capability gap analysis on relevant emerging technology areas, including but not limited to cloud, big data analytics and visualization and mobility.
  • Participates in EA initiatives and assists in preparation of application, technology, and business process rationalization roadmaps.
  • Engages with the relevant IT Business Process Manager and Business Relationship Managers to understand technology needs and requirements and incorporates these into construction of roadmap.
  • Within a specific business or technical domain, creates architecture roadmap for all technology and applications.
  • Role accountabilities :

  • Have critical thinking & evaluation capabilities across multiple topics and domains.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of relevant technical systems & tooling, and a very good understanding of business principles such as : Project and program management, governance, resource management, risk- & quality management, and auditing IT services management, infrastructure, and operations Business modelling and planning tools Information management Level of detail required for developers to create quality solutions Agile / Scrum development methodologies : Epic / Story structure including definition of Ready & Done Kanban, Waterfall, Hybrid Financial forecasting, cost analyses, budgeting, and planning.
  • Reporting and administration tools

  • Be capable of supporting business case development.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of cloud services (Azure preferred).
  • Have in-depth knowledge of standards like SAML2 and OpenID Connect
  • Qualifications & Experience :

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or other related STEM degree
  • 8+ years’ relevant experience in Oracle Enterprise Ecosystem including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Oracle Certified Architect
  • In-depth custom development team leadership, software product manufacturing lifecycle, change management and infrastructure implementation.
  • Working knowledge of Azure Cloud
  • TOGAF or similar certification
