Job Purpose : To handle Building Management Systems (BMS) Department, and the design, supply and delivery, installation, commissioning, training and turn-
over of projects. Job Responsibilities : Responsible for Management of the project team (on-site and off-site) implementation of project requirements related to Building Management Systems (BMS), system integration of Controllers, Field Devices & Sensors, Networking to the Main Server, wiring for communication, low voltage power supply, networking and roughing ins.
Responsible for Client communication, reporting, managing work accomplishment and billings with the Client. Reports directly to the Management and able to work with various support departments such as procurement, logistics & delivery, accounting, engineering and other departments needed for the successful implementation of the project.
Must have a good understanding of the project scope and able to identify the risks involved in every project, as well as the solutions to mitigate the risks.
Responsible for reporting and resolving site issues, status and progress / accomplishing reports, and all other related project documentation needed for the implementation of the project.
Conducts site visits to support the customer as well as the internal design & implementation teams, contractors in BMS projects.
Able to understand and implement control sequence of operations. Knowledge and capability for integration of BMS Protocols such as BACNET, MODBUS, TCP is a must.
Programming of controllers, servers, is not a requirement, but an advantage to the job. Ability to troubleshoot and identify root cause or source of system or installation faults, errors or problems, diagnose issues and concerns on installation, identify project problems and resolve them properly.
Able to work with various departments, support teams and subcontractors, and other colleagues as necessary for successful implementation and turn over of project.
Liaise with other department managers, supervisors & colleagues to ensure an efficient & effective service is delivered to the client & company at all times Able to perform proper testing and commissioning procedures.
Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety Qualifications : Must have a background in Electronics and Communications Engineering, or Computer Science / IT, Mechatronics, or any related field to BMS or Controls Must have at least 5 years experience in BMS and at least 3 years of jobsite experience.
