Business Risk Intermediate Analyst Position Objective :
Citi Global Markets Business Controls and Supervision is looking for a highly energized, dynamic professional who is ready to join a fast-
paced, world leader in the financial services industry. The successful candidate will work with Global Markets Business Management, Chief Administrative Officers, Markets Middle Office, Compliance, Internal Audit, Financial Control and Technology Departments.
The position will report to Manager responsible for the team.
The goal of the Citi Global Markets Business Controls and Supervision is to help establish a robust control environment and culture within the Markets Business worldwide.
Developing an enhanced proactive controls approach that utilizes technology and world class processes to assist management in achieving strategic objectives, promoting efficiency, reduction of the risk of loss and helps ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
In addition, properly functioning internal controls enable management to deal with today’s rapidly changing environment and prepare for future growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Review and reconcile various exception and policy breach reports
Escalate exceptions and issues to the appropriate level of senior management, to business unit managers and CAO
Perform checker Role for specific Core Controlsprocesses.
Coordinate with Business Unit Managers andother Control groups to achieve business objectives
Maintain control documentation needed for thevarious internal, external and regulatory reviews.
Support control initiatives, audits andself-assessment testing for assigned businesses.
Develop internal relationships and providesupport for various Trading / Sales Desks.
Responsibility for managing global controlsand developing best practice procedures within Markets and Securities Services.
Project manage process improvements to aforementioned global core processes.
Present controlsdevelopments to senior management

Understand the various markets and theapplicable regulations, which govern the markets.

Qualifications : Bachelor
MBA and / or CAP is an advantage
Experience in Controls and Operational Risk Management is an advantage
Knowledge in advanced financial products such as derivatives, credit default swaps, etc. is an advantage
Experiencewith databases, including design, developing queries, reports and macros in adynamic environment.
StrongDesktop / PC skill, which include working knowledge of MS suite of applications,specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Exposure to database and Data Warehouseapplications a plus.
Communication - Excellent oral and written communications skills
Change Agent - Ability to drive change tobusiness practices by working effectively. Self starting with the ability tomultitask and prioritize.
Teamwork - Must be able to work in a team environment, listen andwork well with others; Team-oriented, client-focused and open to differentideas / viewpoints.
