We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working Business Development Managers who revel in a business â€ huntingâ€™ role, working in a team environment.
Requirements and Key Competencies :
Self-starter with a high degree of independence, strong ethics and business integrity.
Strength in business analysis, proven research methodology and logical thinking.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), comfortable on the phone. Fluency (written and spoken) in English;
additional languages a plus.
Shepherd client relationships from the early stages of the Business Development process through to setup and execution (Full Cycle).
Ability to work in a fluid and constant changing marketplace.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas.
Proven prospecting management skills and successful experience at new accounts development and getting into new markets.
Strong project management, budget management, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously to meet project deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Solid presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and interact with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically about services and solutions.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Experience in Hubspot.com or other related CRM an advantage.
Maintain professional and appropriate working relationships with all team members. This includes demonstrating respect, enthusiasm and initiative.
Provide support, training and coaching to other team members where appropriate.
Demonstrate teamwork, reliability and professionalism in the workplace.
Education and Experience
Bachelorâ€™s Degree from an accredited university with a focus in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum five (5) years of Business Development or related experience, 7+ years preferred
Strong consultative sales, relationship building, and customer service skills.
Proven track record with brand and agency salesâ€ past success and established relationships.
Large range of existing relationships and contacts with top-tier companies considered an asset.
Identification of opportunities in Emerging Markets.
Communicate on customer and competitive developments.
Identify potential customers in each line of business.
Qualify marketing leads and set up calls for Account Executives.
Identify and qualify business opportunities and qualified leads.
Present business solutions to prospective customers.
Develop and implement strategies to maintain and increase business with each account (existing and potential).
Create and / or review reports and forecasts, and ongoing status reports.
All other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
