The DevOps (Development Operations) Engineer works hand in hand within the technical team to provide operational support for Tzilla’s production systems (the website, SCP, OFS, ERP API’s, VivX API’s , VivX)
They ensure the availability and optimal operation of the Tzilla production environment and its support systems, using industry standard tools and processes.
They also actively build and enhance platform services, including website software and applications and databases.
They also check and monitor alarms on a periodic basis, and serve as first level support ticket owner for all issues in Production, & monitor cost-
effectiveness and system performance.
Work closely with the team to brainstorm, plan, execute and deliver work agreed and approved by the team.
Translate high-level business requirements into technical designs.
Handle and support programs / applications started or worked on by another programmer, as well as create new and / or enhance existing functionalities to be more efficient and better-performing.
Estimate both time and efforts required to deliver a product for the next phase.
Identify, raise and work to solve critical elements that may waste efforts and affect product viability.
