Description Major responsibilities of a Supply Chain Analyst 2 supporting Strategic Sourcing are as follows : Develops and assist in the execution of eRFI’s, eRFP’s, and eAuctions and evaluating supplier proposals and responses Performs spend analysis to identify opportunities for cost improvement and value delivery Prepares KPI reports , CTPAT, Contract Management and process documentation Maintains databases and procurement tools Gather data in order to perform comparative analysis for a specific commodity and / or supplier for identifying and implementing value add activities such as cost reductions, innovation, risk management, etc.
within the supply chain base .
Specific Knowledge :
Basic understanding of MRP, ERP and SRM systems and tools
Familiarity with basic commodities Able to read, analyze & interpret various data types in Excel, Outlook or PDF formats
Has experience in analyzing data in different formats and finding commonalities or discrepancies
Can understand / interpret technical documents such as product datasheets & price lists, manuals, catalogs
Good working knowledge on data interpretation & business processes
Knowledge in supply chain, buying, planning functions
Able to perform ad hoc and project-spend analysis and reports
Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency (Level 2)
Proficient in other Microsoft office programs : Power Point, Word, Outlook
Good level communication skills for interacting with technical & non-technical people via email or phone correspondence in fluent English
Can provide data in an efficient and understandable manner
Uses Oracle or other similar applications for data entry
Capable of simultaneously using various systems / tools to complete requests
