Disaster Recovery Manager :

  • Encompasses planning, day-to-day administration and operational activities, DR Test preparation and DR Test management.
  • DRM serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on BC / DR Services

  • Management of schedules, risks, issues & change associated with the conduct of tests & identification of any DR exposures
  • Strategy : Develop & maintain an overarching Resilience Management Plan for assigned client Ensure the Resiliency Services resiliency response is complementary to the client’s overall Business Continuity and / or IT DR Strategy Develop understanding of the resilience contract to meet deliverables & proactively managing Client expectations Coordinate Client / IBM GTS / 3rd party personnel during resilience testing
  • Planning : Develop annual plan of resilience activities Identify & schedule ongoing operational support of the Resilience Plan & processes In conjunction with Client, plan & schedule the execution of in-
  • scope Resilience Tests

  • Administration : Record resource utilisation by proper allocation of claim codes, and management to interlock Report as required to Account Team & Resiliency Services
  • Operations : Coordinate the development & maintenance of Resilience procedures Based on previous Resilience Tests refine operational procedures where possible Maintain Resilience Plans Execute Resilience Plans in accordance with the Contract
  • Resilience Tests :
  • Plan tests objectives Engage delivery resources Define roles & responsibilities Project manage the Resilience Tests Maintain log of Resilience Tests events Prepare Resilience Test Report Obtain formal confirmation of test results
