Job description

  • Manage all System Assurance activities at the System Integration Level throughout the lifecycle.
  • Prepare all the System Assurance deliverables at the System Integration Level, e.g. System Assurance Plan, Safety Plan, RAM Plan, PHA report, Safety case, Hazard log, etc.
  • Align with Project Level System Assurance approaches.
  • Harmonize all the SA deliverables produced by sub-systems’ level including Track Works, Signaling System, Communication System, Power Supply System, Power Distribution System, Overhead Contact System, Automatic Fare Collection System, and Platform Screen Door system
  • Regularly communicate with each sub-system SAM to follow up the SA activities and issues.
  • Conduct all the RAMS workshops required at the System level
  • Ensure adequate resources are available to conduct SA work.
  • Ensure SA deliverable schedule is followed.
  • Ensure competency of people involved in SA work.
  • Facilitate and attend audits, correct any non-conformance and address any observations.
  • Prepare and chair SA meetings with the relevant parties to address any issues related to progress and / or interfaces affecting the scope of the works.
  • Attend meetings requested by the Client.
  • Coordinate all core and non-core functions of SA to ensure the completeness of the deliverables and the compliant to the requirements.
  • SAM is also a point of contact of all SA topics between the Consortiums, Suppliers, and Sub-Contractors.
  • Support the audit from the Project level ISA.
  • Profile

  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering discipline of proven industry background
  • Familiar with Railway System Assurance and RAMS process in accordance with EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, and Common Safety Method (CSM).
  • Possess high level of experience including previously acting as SAM on similar Railway project.
  • Able to perform RAMS analysis with Isograph Reliability Workbench
  • Experience with ComplyPro or DOORS is preferable
  • Fluent in English
