We are looking for a professional who has experience in support of investment management systems, with a concentration on investment accounting applications.
Flexibility is important, as is a strong understanding of the asset management business, the systems ecosystem, investment accounting, and the ability to lead others and share knowledge.
Hands-on SimCorp Dimension experience ideal for this role
End-user support experience on the client-side
Understanding of asset classes and experience with Investment Accounting Systems
Strong general knowledge of asset management operations
Willing and able to share knowledge and train colleagues in an efficient and structured manner
Able to support Dimension and trouble shoot and resolve Batch and CA related issues
Work with business clients, internal and external teams to debug or trouble shoot application errors and defects
Comfortable working in a global environment
Ability to consult on implementation approaches and production support pitfalls
Knowledge of best practices regarding Dimension support, change management, and upgrades
Determine relative priorities in a very busy production support 24 / 6 environment
Follow and own tasks from start to finish displaying ownership and persistence to ensure resolution often coordinating with multiple parties
Strong documentation skills and procedure design abilities
Attention to detail and comfortable working in a regulated and audited environment
Operate with a high degree of independence
Ability and confidence to meet with business clients and represent day to day Dimension issues and changes clearly and effectively
Coordinate multiple actors from multiple teams and work collaboratively
Confidence and demeanor to act as the "go-to" person for the team and ability to make sound decisions on the best way forward for issues and fixes
Ability to forge strong working relationships with colleagues in both IS and the Business
Comfortable with both hands-on app support, as well as leading groups and participating in projects
A desire and willingness to learn new skills, adapt, and take on new challenges
Minimum 2 years working experience supporting accounting systems at Level 2 (support) in either Operational or Technology perspective
Experience with relational database structures and methodologies
Minimum 2 years of experience with one or more of the following : Scheduling (CA, CA WLA), SQL queries and scripting, Excel
Proven ability to multitask both independently and within a team
Excellent English communication (both written and oral)
Applicable undergraduate degree or Designation in Computer Science / Economics or equivalent experience
Ability to understand business process requirements and, using technology, conceptualize creative solutions through to implementation
Experience in financial services, specifically investment management
Client oriented, takes initiative, creative and proactive thinker
