The Information Technology group provides enterprise-wide IT solutions for all of AIG's specialized disciplines. Technology provides strategic and procedural support in all of AIG's specialized disciplines, such as policy issuance, premium collection, claims handling, and administration.
It enables AIG to deliver business strategies through efficient world-class IT and operations services, while ensuring the necessary IT risk management and security measures are in place.

Will be reporting to Development Manager
Work on multiple projects and level 2 and 3 app support
Perform programming tasks and provide technical and team leadership to the dev team
Assign and track progress of individual developers on their assigned tasks.
Work with offshore and onshore teams and guide the team development efforts towards successful project delivery
Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and adhering to high-quality development principles
Assess opportunities for application and process improvements, which will include drafting of plan to implement the improvements
Collaborate with other teams (developers, testers, business analysts, project managers, and architects) to analyze, plan, design, develop, test, and deliver solutions based on business requirements.
Provide status updates and reports on team assignments and projects
Day shift but will have to work in the evening during critical periods of the project or during SEV 1 production issues that is requiring level 3 support
What we are looking for
At least 7 solid years of programming experience preferably on C#, VB.net, ASP Has strong application services and database programming skills and experience
Has done level 2 and 3 application support and application development projects (web app, services or DB)
With experience leading a team of developers
Has very good communication skills - verbal and written
Multitasking; willing and can work on 2 to 3 projects or application support simultaneously
Familiar with offshore-onshore type of development project
Preferably with very good understanding of DevOps and delivery process automation, and has implemented same processes in work
Preferably with knowledge and experience in travel insurance
Preferably with experience in Travel Guard Liberty and Freedom value streams
With degree on Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
Proven record required providing direction, motivating and growing employees to drive high levels of performance.
