Provide customer service via email or phone calls & answer customer / agency’s question regarding product, process, policy

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review, index and triage all incoming correspondences (mail / faxes / emails) for all Commercial Lines by determining nature of request, confirming that information provided is adequate and routing tasks to the appropriate team
  • Triage new business submission, Renewals, Cancellation, Endorsements and reinstatements
  • Support Underwriters and / or Processors with initial preparation work based on set criteria by reviewing and extracting source data from imaged applications, initiating electronic task workflows and establishing quotes and policy routing as appropriate
  • Order confidential financial and loss reports for Underwriting and Processing from various electronic databases
  • Communicate with underwriters and / or agents by identifying and requesting missing information
  • Collect, organize and enter data promptly and accurately by adhering to established service level agreements
  • Develop working knowledge of department goals and business objectives and contribute to best practice development to support the objectives
  • Align individual performance with department expectations by adhering to established schedules, setting work-related goals and communicating individual objectives and progress
  • Build relationships with team members by participating in special projects as assigned

  • Experience

  • Preferably with 1-2 years' experience in customer service
  • Preferably with BPO Back-office experience and shifting schedules
  • Preferably with Insurance background
