The is responsiblefor the day-to-daymanagement ofbreeding operations from Brooding, Growingand Laying to achieve budgeted cost and quality of day old broiler chicksintended for the Poultry Growout Operations.
The position will ensure adequatecommunication is maintained between functions, contractors, customers andoutside regulatory agencies.
This position will also ensure adherence toCargill, Inc. Guiding Principles to include policies and procedures for safety,food safety, environmental, sanitation, work quality standards, management andproduction.
Finally this role is responsible for working with the leadershipteam to develop and execute a plan to achieve desired business goals.
Coaching, development, training and managementsupport to theBroiler BreederOperations to achieve budgeted hatching egg production, cost and quality ofhatching eggs for the Poultry Growout Operations.
Manage and monitor overall poultry breedingperformance both company and contract farms in assigned area.Ensure maintenance of minimum stock levels ofpullet and layer birds and perform periodic production forecasting.
Ensurecompliance with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
Oversee employee and contract farms issues andconcerns. Ensure employee and contract farms engagement.
Coordinates with other function for layer andegg deliveries, equipment, medication and vaccination needs and other activitesrelated to breeding operations.
This include designing and implementation ofcontracts to contract pullets and breeders.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties asassigned
Graduate of Agriulture major in poultryproduction or Veterinary medicine
5 years pastexperience in broiler breeder or broiler production

At least3 years leadership or supervisory experience
Workingknowledge of Food Safety, Occupational Safety and Health Standards of DOLE andEnvironmental regulations
