  • Commercial Legal Advisor

  • Responsible for Contract review, negotiation and finalization of real estate outsourcing deals / pursuits with minimal supervision.
  • Support various legal leads on large regional and global pursuits.

  • Understand the business deeply and support Business teams on pursuits / deals Identify and advise on legal risks and management of such risks;
  • Strong client focus and be able to develop rapport and solid collaboration strategies with Business teams and Legal colleagues within and outside the APAC region across all management levels to provide well-rounded legal advices;
  • Oversee and manage litigations and dispute resolutions (with the help of external counsels);
  • Train Business teams on various legal issues to increase awareness and effectiveness in legal risk management; and
  • Build relationships with other stakeholders within the business and regional external legal advisors.
  • Manila Legal Team Manager

  • Manage, supervise and train legal counsels in the GWS Manila legal team;
  • Mentor and motivate team to step up, grow, achieve results and collaborate within and outside of the Legal team and keep team engaged;
  • Oversee ad-hoc legal projects and improve existing legal processes to increase team work efficiency.
  • Manila Legal Operations Manager

  • Support leadership (GWS APAC Legal Lead and Manila SCC Head) in the management responsibilities of the Manila legal team and be a bridge between leadership teams and the Manila Legal Team;
  • Understand the vision, direction, goals and strategic Initiatives of GWS APAC Legal team and keep team informed, aligned and motivated towards these and implement initiatives where they relate to Manila Legal Team;
  • Trouble shoot
  • Work with Talent Acquisition team to build a strong talent pool of good quality lawyers for our Manila team.

  • Experience

  • With at least 10 years of relevant work experience (with significant in-house experience and at least 5 years of managerial experience).
  • Qualifications

  • Have a Bachelor Degree / Master in Law (LLB / LLM)
  • Bar passer, preferred
