Job description :
Set up and move workstations; repair PCs; image PCs; and troubleshoot printer problems and network connectivity issues
Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
Check computer hardware and peripherals (HDD, mouses, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality.
Perform, monitor, and document general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment, etc.
Maintain, update and monitor the database of computer assets
Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
Provides first-level PC / technical support for local or remote users / visits other site locations as needed
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.)
Follow documented processes to conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and diagnose hardware and software problems.
May replace defective components, and provide technical assistance as directed.
Liaise with IT suppliers / vendors
Perform data backups and maintain an inventory of computer parts for emergency repairs.
Assist with the development, implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of company IT policy.
Other related duties as required by management superior from time to time
Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields
At least 1-year relevant work experience
Knowledge of various computer hardware and software
Knowledge in Firewall devices and Router configuration; Windows operating system, LAN & WAN technologies; Microsoft Office applications including basic troubleshooting and support services, other computer peripherals such as a printer, scanner, and other peripherals that are commonly used in an office environment
Technical documentation and analytical skills; detailed-oriented; problem-solving skills
Ability to take Initiative, multi-task at a high level, someone can work independently and must be reliable, has a strong sense of ownership(accountability).
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
