Job Summary :

Responsible for Division / Department level strategies to improve hiring, onboarding, throughput and retention. Supervises 2-4 Supervisors.

May also directly manager Senior Hiring and Retention Specialist. Manages multiple programs and multiple sites.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Regularly reviews onboarding processes and looks for process gaps and initiates improvement to drive better employee experience and cost efficiency.
  • Reviews onboarding employee satisfaction results and partners with department leads to address top drivers systematically.
  • Reviews throughput trends and documented data-driven feedback on failed competency / behaviors and adjusts hiring process as necessary to improve throughput.
  • Initiates projects with the Operations and Training leads to fix and improve attrition in programs below the attrition targets
  • Serves as main POC for Operations Leads and DVP for high level direction and strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Constantly liaises & partners with senior leaderhsip for specific site onboarding concerns that are specifc to the multiple accounts and sites they are handling.
  • Helps drive red zone calls. Identifies and addresses turnover trends and develops initiatives to increase retention of skilled talent.
  • Responsible for reviewing the onboarding requirements of program in scope and creates appropriate support model, from specialists, senior specialist to supervisor support.
  • Create and deliver presentations to all levels of management, and potentially all employees, regarding accumulated data and throughput & retention initiatives.
  • Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment at the Division Level, and provide effective solutions to be implemented among the subordinates.
  • May be asked to provide data needed for department budget exercises, and is responsible in ensuring the department is operating based on budget targets.
  • Responsible in evaluating and providing coaching and development of all assigned Specialists / Senior Specialists and Supervisors.
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, supportiveness, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed and achieve common goals.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with all poilicies, procedures and regulations relating to the job duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Education and Experience :

  • Minimum of 2 years university required. Graduate of Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years related experience required. Three years supervisory experience in a similar function required.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with different support groups to resolve process gaps.
  • Proficient in crafting and presenting reviews and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven decision-skills is a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational management skills
  • Project Management skills
  • Performance is measured by recruitment metrics, throughput and attrition.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs- MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook, MS Word
  • Basic understanding of statistical & analytical tools / methodologies is an advatage.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Analytical problem solving skills, linear and logical troubleshooting skills.
  • Judgment is required to solve problems which may require some interpretation of policies and practices within an area of expertise.
