Position : Japanese Store Manager

Industry : Convenience Store

Location : Parañaque (On site)

Salary : Php 50,000 - Php 60,000

Work Schedule : Dayshift

  • Japanese National
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • 3 to 5 years experience in similar role
  • NO MORE THAN 45 YRS OLD
  • Experience in management may be advantage
  • Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Maintain store staff job results by coaching counselling and disciplining employees : planning, monitoring and appraising job results
  • Ensure availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts, maintaining inventories
  • Market merchandise by studying advertising sales promotion and display plans, analysing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios
  • Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
  • Determine marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing Professional publications; establishing personal networks;
  • participating in professional societies

  • Maintain operations by initiating coordinating and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures
  • Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilise cross-training methods to maintain productivity when employees are absent
  • Work with vendors and manufacturers to bring in effective marketing displays for the sales floor and store windows
  • Analyse and interpret trends to facilitate planning
  • Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organising training and development
  • Respond to customer complaints and comments
