ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and manage the global company consolidation on a monthly basis.
Ensure corporate consolidation reconciliations are properly completed, reviewed and documented.
Assist in the gathering and reviewing of monthly, quarterly and annual information for external reporting, audits, reviews and tax compliance.
Prepare and / or review monthly income statement and balance sheet analysis for specific corporate and total company accounts.
Provide general guidance and advice to Global Accounting staff as it relates to intercompany, consolidations and other related month-end process, i.e. revaluation.
Direct activities of global staff as necessary to ensure effective performance of function.
Ensure optimum performance of group function.
Prepare manual journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform Balance Sheet and P&L FLUX analysis for owned accounts and total company accounts
Collaborate with the finance business improvement and transformation team to continue to develop world class finance and accounting processes and drive faster monthly and quarterly financial statement close process.
Ensures accurate and timely compilation of accounting information, analysis and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Company policies and procedures.
Proposal and development of improvements to existing company policies and procedures where appropriate including compliance with technical accounting guidelines.
Provide timely and accurate accounting information to internal customers on ad hoc basis.
Develop / refine and implement procedures to ensure proper accounting and controls of certain financial information.
Perform research of authoritative accounting guidance and applies guidance to properly reflect financial information as required Support and monitor company policies and practices.
Complete and maintain process documentation and ensure SOX 404 compliance for functional area of responsibility.
Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage of opportunities, and maintain state-of-the-art practices.
Consolidate and oversee cycle review materials both for BS and FL flux analysis
Complies at all times with the Environment, Health and Safety and company manufacturing standards, rules and regulations
Perform other duties that may be assigned.
Bachelor’s degree graduate preferably BS Accountancy or any related course
Minimum of 7 years of related Finance and Accounting experience
Hands on and detailed Oracle R12 experience and advanced MS Excel skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
Strong analytical skills, detail oriented.
