Job Description

Zendesk is seeking an Associate Marketing Reporting Analyst to join the Growth Marketing team. You’ll be joining a motley crew of data nerds, hungry foodies, soccer players, and an improv champ.

We are data driven marketers, so every major decision starts with data analysis to identify opportunity areas and to measure our efforts.

You’ll be diving into a wide scope of sales, marketing, and product data to help us make the right decisions and achieve our ambitious goals.

Responsibilities :

Join forces with our analysts to inspire and empower Growth Marketing to leverage data to measure and prove success

Generate weekly KPI reports to support key stakeholders and business decision making processes

Be the first responders for all marketing ad hoc requests and identify and communicate insights

Create tools to actively monitor data trends and communicate issues, opportunities, and outcomes to senior leadership

Proactively educate, train, and empower the marketing organization on all marketing KPIs, dashboards, and definitions

Build and maintain reports and / or dashboards that provide visibility into business performance

Drive change and improvement through continuous feedback and exposure to marketing dashboards and tools

Be rigorous about monitoring KPIs related to Go-To Market performance and don’t hesitate to point out new trends or flag potential issues

Desired Skills and Experience :

1 to 3 years relevant experience

Working knowledge of SQL and data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery, MySQL)

Familiarity with datasets, databases, data visualization, and Excel formulas and pivot tables

Advanced proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides and or MS Office applications. Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Must be a detail-minded, analytical, deadline-oriented self-starter who has the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Requires well-developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of people at all levels

Previous knowledge of an association management system or CRM (ideally Salesforce-based), or other similar systems and the related reporting tools a plus

Familiarity with marketing funnel reporting and industry KPIs, such as website sessions, MQLs, pipeline, and MRR a plus
