The Business Development Manager is responsible to sell products and services to new clients (end clients, market research agencies, and other panel partners).
Undertakes market research for potential full service and global group sales clients and generate warm leads
Proactively collaborates with other members of Management in developing the Sales Action Plan
Develops new clients and builds strong relationships with them
Makes sales presentations, generates proposals, negotiates deals and closes business with clients in order to achieve individual, team and regional team sales goals (full service, global sample, process automation tool)
Provides accurate, timely, and regular written sales reports to the Director, US & EMEA Sales-Operations
Generates proposals, negotiates deals and closes business with prospective clients in order to achieve individual sales goals within the assigned market and with particular global-
class marketing research companies.
Works with other Account Managers and Director, US & EMEA Sales-Operations to ensure that Team regional sales goals are met and that each area is covered appropriately.
What we are looking for :
Must have at least 5 to 8 years of solid online market research and sales experience in MR and OMR industries preferably with global outlook and cross cultural experience.
With a good network within the MR and OMR industries
Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Willing to travel locally and overseas.
Will be assigned to a permanent night shift position in order to communicate efficiently with Global clients, particularly US clients
Ability to display empathy and is able to get along well with different personalities and to work well in a small Team and with other Teams
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and various sales management software
Satisfactory background check (criminal, civil, credit) is required.
Must have a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
