Sales & Service
To visit clinicians and laboratory staff on regular basis to promote and create awareness, interest and adoption on microbiology, immunology and molecular / syndromic testing
To constantly recruit and develop Key Opinion Leaders, Speakers and Advocates
To drive sustainable projects i.e. Continuing Medical Education activities, work with Medical affairs on microbiology practice improvement and build local evidence
To ensure repeat sales and develop additional accounts in order to achieve profitable sales goals.
To provide prompt service to customers by participating in the preparations of an installation, giving a demonstration, training and or instruction for the proper use of our instruments and / or products.
To expand installed base and replace unprofitable or inappropriate accounts with bioMerieux install base into profitable accounts.
To handle product complaints by passing the complaint / s to Customer support and ensure that such complaints are solved as soon as possible with proper follow up.
To maintain adequate records i.e. customer masterlists and profiling, account universe and to submit weekly call reports and monthly reports including competitive activities and market trends.
To execute company marketing strategies and provide feedback on feasibility, success factors and areas for improvements including the strategies of competition
To keep up-to-date on product knowledge relating to bioMerieux products and that of its competitors.
Coordinating / Communication
To cooperate and work closely with different stakeholders in the business process including external partners (Distributors) and internal partners i.
e. finance, QARA, supply chain and customer service departments to ensure the best distribution service to customers.
To proactively share info and cooperate with fellow team members in ASEAN and other personnel within the organisation where necessary.
To provide customers / opinion leaders with up-to-date information on the company and its activities.
Skills / Educational Requirements :
BSc in Medical Technology, Health Science or related field (e.g. Immunology)
Minimum 3 year Sales or QC laboratory work experience in the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical field
Product training in bMx products range highly advantageous. Experience in detailing to clinicians is highly desirable
Valid Driver's license with an excellent record
Independent worker and a self-starter
Dynamic, people oriented and customer centric individual
Excellent selling skills with successful track record
Excellent communication / presentation skills and listening skills
