  • Finance Core Project Focal
  • Assesses and creates business rules technical rules for Finance Core changes.
  • Leads the GA assessment calendar tasks by analyzing the E2E calendar, identifying gaps and including all the tasks in the operations calendar (tasks executed by GAs and by the users)
  • Ensures GA Tasks are included in the MEND Calendar / Tracker, Consolidated Game Plan with Business Partners and resources are assigned to them with no conflicts faced during the Month End Closing Period period to avoid rework due to incorrect task alignment.

  • Centralizes the operational calendar changes request (if applicable) for all incoming systems implementation starting 2021 before deploying to Operations
  • Centralized Testing and Verifications Lead
  • Attends Finance Core trainings on-site and remotely (train the trainer sessions)
  • Leads the assessment of GBS Operations readiness including accesses
  • Conducts trainings to operations team
  • Leads GBS testing for Finance Core related changes for GA processes
  • Identifies, consolidates, and raises issues during testing to Finance Core project owners until resolution
  • Support On-going Operations for Deployed Systems
  • Acts as Month-end support for Operations working on 2 shifts to support all varying business hours
  • Act as the 1st level of escalation for potential issues raised by Operations and / or End Users, prior to escalation to the Project Team, including preliminary root-cause analysis and identifying user-issues
  • Owns the raising, coordination and implementation to Operations of IT tickets for identified system issues
  • Leads the assessment of impact of Finance Core changes from Controllership in GA Activities
  • Creates training material and facilitates training to GA new joiners prior deployment to operating teams

    Technical Knowledge Requirements :

  • PowerBI, RPA (basics), Knime, and Other Data Analytics Tool
  • SAP CRM UI user
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge
  • Ability to understand, interpret and compare Financial Statements
  • Proficient Income Statement and Balance Sheet Analysis understanding, under GM structure and requirements
  • Understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX / Internal Control Requirements additionally, continue to attend trainings on these topics to remain adequately informed and knowledgeable
