  • Job Summary

    Accounting Admin is responsible for end to end general accounting tasks and in preparing and reviewing administrative reports.

    The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of Australian bookkeeping, auditing, and admin procedures and will be an asset to the team.

    Job Description

  • Perform bookkeeping, administrative tasks using XERO accounting software
  • Ensure all money is hitting the right GL
  • Ensure all Payments are applied to invoices from Automated Monthly direct Debit, Online payment, Direct bank transfers, and BPAY
  • Liaise with Active Billing (Billing software) to ensure all required transactions are completed pre-monthly direct debit
  • Manage account receivables; escalate to account manager where required or on specific accounts
  • Manage Customer Credit request and disputes
  • Liaise with the Bill Run Manager
  • Review and Audit Supplier invoices; escalate as required and liaise with Vendor to resolve discrepancies
  • Deal with suppliers and manage supplier payments : Enter in Xero and organize payment via ABA
  • Reconcile all bank accounts
  • Attend to all enquiries
  • Perform Payroll
  • Organize and update financial and admin records as needed
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required
  • Requirements

    Applicants must have :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position or equivalent
  • MUST have experience in Telco industry
  • Experience in XERO accounting software
  • Successful applicants will be those who have the following skills or experience :

  • Familiarity with office management procedures and accounting principles
  • Keen attention to detail, time management, and accounting administration skills
  • Good analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office Excel and office management software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
