The Technical Project Analyst within the R&D PMO will be looked upon as the PMO tools / software developer, and will have proven real-world tools development experience with the ability to create and integrate workflows that enable seamless, efficient, and comprehensive PMO tracking and reporting.

Areas of focus will include the development and integration of Project Web Application SharePoint solutions, as well as integration with existing financial reporting solutions.

This position is expected to provide solutions for the challenges of reporting and tracking product development and project management within an extensive, high-paced energy solutions portfolio within the R&D PMO.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Engineering or Computer Science B.S., degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working within a PMO with support responsibilities is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, SharePoint, Project Web Application, and Power BI is a must.
  • Experience with ViewPoint and SQL is a plus.
  • Uses detail-oriented, data-driven, and analytical approach for process development and problem solving.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Eager to be supportive and innovative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to be proactive in interfacing with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management skills; will have demonstrated the ability to trouble-shoot deficiencies with product and project tracking / management, seek the input of key constituents, and manage development responsibilities to achieve desired, end-user defined success criteria.
  • Open and collaborative style; must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged.
  • Energy and enthusiasm; candidates must find the work "fun" and enjoy being accountable and willing to hold others accountable.
  • Travel : 10-15%

    Work Schedule : This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

    KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as tools / software developer for R&D PMO.
  • Engages and works well with project management and corporate engineering.
  • Collaborates with internal customers to gain insight to their needs for product development and project management.
  • Translates customer needs into product requirements that are unambiguous and verifiable.
  • Troubleshoots technical issues during product development using prior experience with root cause analysis.
  • Establishes and fosters strong collaborative relationships with internal and design / development partners.
