The Human Resources Manager is the right hand person to the the management team. S/he provides leadership in building a strong employee culture and morale built on eJam's core values. This individual uses creativity and resourcefulness to complement their strong, working knowledge in the area of benefits and compensation, employee relations, coaching, recruiting, policy development and interpretation, general HR administration in order to accomplish the multiple demands of a growing organization.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment & Onboarding Supervises the Talent Acquisition SpecialistManages recruiting efforts of non-exempt positions, temporary needs and exemptpositionsRecruits, interviews, and selects employees with Hiring Managers to fill vacant positionsPrepares offer letters and New Hire InformationPlans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals
HR Analysis and Information Management Manages and maintains the HR system; accurately enters new hire critical information, i.e., salary, title, location, reporting manager, changes to benefits, salary, etc.Maintains integrity of record keeping for all employees
Employee Relations Handles employee relations matters including performance improvement plan development, investigations and exit interviews
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in human resources or business-related field with 5-8 years of progressive experience performing professional level human resources duties. SHRM/HRCI Certification is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong organizational, resourcefulness, project management and communication skills are necessary.Former generalist with solid experience with managing and HR administrationStrong experience in recruiting for non-exempt and exempt level, managing simple and complex employee relations issues.Self-starter, highly motivated, and innovativeAbility to work in a fast-paced changing and growing environmentFosters an environment that upholds company core values.Maintains a working knowledge of company products and services
