As a Lead Technician in the Materials Science Laboratory group of Western Digital, you will be part of metrology characterization team using our cross-section tools and will have the opportunity to lead a small group with defined task.
You will learn FIB techniques and develop applicable techniques relevant to characterization requirement. You will work collaboratively with fellow technicians and management team in producing important and critical results as part of team’s objective and goals at Western Digital.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform FIB cross-section characterization for masspro product and design development heads and generate analysis reports
Lead and initiate to develop techniques necessary to support the characterization requirement and / or improve existing cross-section processes
Conduct and supervise execution of tool daily preventive maintenance and necessary basic troubleshooting to resolve tool downtimes
Applies knowledge / skills to complete given tasks as well provide innovative solutions
Strong leadership skills to work together effectively with fellow technicians, engineers and management team
Perform other duties as assigned
College level within a technical degree or any technical vocational course
With prior experience in operating SEM or any related analytical techniques
With lead roles / assignment experience
Ability to work effectively under pressure and can do collaborative activities.
Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent positive results
Must work well with diverse teams
