To provide support for Emerson Automation Solutions primarily on marketing program metrics, database management, analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities Duty 1 : Metrics, Reporting and Analytics Data Gathering

  • Extracts / generates quantitative information from a single or multiple tools Business Intelligence Tools (i.e. : Eloqua Insight, Tableau etc.)
  • Communicates with resource person to get input / raw data needed for report generation
  • Conducts research to gather qualitative information (competitive product information, industry trends, and check product specifications) from internal & external sources that will be used for analysis
  • Data Manipulation

  • Cleans extracted data using pre-defined guidelines or instructions
  • Formats extracted data based on expected report output. (multiple data formatting requirements)
  • Formats extracted data based on expected report output. (with batching capability)
  • Categorizes and segments extracted data using tools to convert data to information relevant to the report (excel, macro, database)
  • Consolidates and standardize data structure from different data sources
  • Combines extracted data from multiple resources using automated tools (excel, macro, database)
  • Calculates data using available fields within the gathered information. (statistics)
  • Data Analysis

  • Analyzes gathered information & data using descriptive analytics (basic mathematics & comparative analysis)
  • Analyzes gathered information & data using diagnostic analytics (root cause analysis, gap analysis)
  • Evaluates objectives and recommends non-standard reports / workaround based on customer requirement
  • Reporting

  • Creates and tests dynamic reports based on the designed format
  • Campaign Analysis

  • Communicates issues / concerns to POC regarding results of Analysis
  • Provides inputs on marketing campaign proposals & marketing analysis - steps for campaign design, process improvement, testing and tracking
  • Identifies and provides recommendations on needs and opportunities for the organization's marketing campaigns by transforming business needs to actionable marketing strategies and supports the creation of marketing proposals, campaign design, process improvement and testing
  • Conceptualizes, creates, and implements standard campaign analytics / report templates and processes for the organization
  • Validates correctness and applicability of reports submitted by junior analyst
  • Duty 2 : Program Implementation Initiation

  • Attends scope reviews to learn what the program request is all about
  • Assists program owner in gathering, analyzing and clarifying customer requirements; uses technical knowledge to gauge complexity of the request
  • Recommends stakeholders to proceed with the conceptualization of the projects / programs.
  • Planning

  • Reduces complexity by breaking down large tasks to smaller deliverables ready to be assigned to the project team members.
  • Performs research and analysis to validate if the detailed solution is the best fit to meet the requirements
  • Leads project milestone and gate reviews
  • Execution

  • Reports own progress back to the project tracking tool
  • Participates in cross-functional testing and peer reviews
  • Promotes understanding, continued development, and on-going adherence of program guidelines across the marketing organization
  • Testing

  • Introduces and tests proposed solutions to continuously improve the process / tools of the team
  • Implements the necessary fix or improvement for basic functionalities based on the UAT results
  • Duty 3 : Training and Development Training Material Development

  • Adapts training syllabi, course outlines, lesson plans and content of existing materials (e.g. presentations, evaluation tools, etc.
  • for assigned training courses for specific audience / scenario

  • Creates / Authors content of training materials (e.g. presentations, evaluation tools, etc.) for new courses / programs
  • Training Execution

  • Conducts intermediate and comprehensive training on products, processes and business tools
  • Requirements Education : Bachelor of Art / Sciences, Major in Marketing, Communications or equivalent Job Related Experience : (4.

    5) four and a half years’ experience in data mining, manipulation, analysis and reporting Specific Knowledge :

  • Microsoft Office
  • Data Manipulation & Interpretation

  • Root Cause / Gap Analysis
  • Digital Analytics (i.e. Tableau, Eloqua, or other marketing automation systems)
  • Skills :

  • Strong oral & written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving & analytical skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency Level 3 (Advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA Macros)
  • Presentation skills strong in Power Point, comfortable presenting during conference calls or face-to-face
